This accelerated 5-day bootcamp is perfect for aspiring programmers and data scientists with little to no experience. Python is among the most natural programming languages to learn for several reasons. The easy-to-remember syntax uses actual English words, and the robust structure makes it possible to extend the functionality of programs beyond what most coding languages are capable of.
Python is quickly replacing R as the ideal programming language for data scientists. Because it's very versatile, Python can also be used to develop web applications and games. By learning Python, you open the doors to not only a variety of career possibilities but also high earning potential. Python developers are among the highest-paid programmers in New York.
This accelerated five-day bootcamp covers the basics of Python. On Days 1 and 2, you'll jump into the basics of Python and objected-oriented programming. The libraries, Numpy and Pandas, are reviewed on Day 3. On Day 4, you'll explore data analysis and visualization. On the final day of the course, you'll complete some real-world projects using linear regression and statistical modeling. By the end of the bootcamp, you'll be able to use popular data science packages, including Pandas, Matplotlib, and scikit-learn to evaluate data and create visualizations.
No previous coding or math experience required, basic computer skills
