Get the hang of Outlook, including setting up your email signature and formatting your email themes and text. First, you'll learn how to organize messages, create calendars, and schedule appointments and events. You'll then learn how to use other Outlook features—notes, tasks, and journal entries. At the end of Outlook Level I, you'll learn how to add your contacts and create groups.
Outlook Level I is one of two Microsoft Office Outlook classes offered at Career Centers. You'll learn the essentials you need to read and compose an email, manage your calendar, and complete other tasks in Outlook. If you're planning to obtain certification, this course will help you prepare.

However, if you plan to take the course live online, you may need to obtain required software. We’ll help you get set up with a free trial of paid software prior to the class. Most of our coding classes utilize freely-available open-source software. For most of our design and motion graphics courses, we will help you get set up with a free trial of Adobe Creative Cloud. If you attend the course in-person, we will have a computer already set up for you with all of the required software for no additional cost.

Unlike other providers, these are not mass open-enrollment classes. At NYC Career Centers, you’ll learn in small groups (typically 8-15 students) and receive personalized attention.
Get face-to-face interaction with an instructor and other students when you learn at our NYC campus. Courses are hands-on with a computer and software provided.
Get the same interactivity and access to the instructor as in-person students. There are no extra fees and we’ll work with you to ensure your remote setup is perfect.
Upon completion of this course, you’ll receive an official certificate testifying to your mastery of the curriculum. We’ll send you a link where you can download your certificate, share it online with your friends, post it to your professional network on LinkedIn, and view all your earned certificates. Congratulations on your achievement!

The Outlook Essentials Specialist class concentrates on how to use Outlook quickly and effectively for daily work tasks or to become an Official Microsoft Certified Outlook Specialist. By the end of this class, you will be able to reduce hours of repetitive work by setting up rules and search folders to automate email, manage your calendar and to-do lists, manage huge amounts of email with ease, manage complex scheduling, organize all your contacts and track your correspondence. This class is perfect for those who know how to do the most basic emailing (replying and creating a new email) and for those wanting to learn the best way to organize all their contacts, emails, and tasks. It's great for anyone working in an office and spending more than an hour in Outlook each day.
The Outlook Specialist class is also designed to follow the official Microsoft Study Guide to passing the Outlook Specialists Certiport Exam. You will learn how to Customize Outlook, Automate Tasks, Print, Search, Format and manage Calendars, Contacts, Email, Tasks and Journals. We have the highest pass rate of any Outlook Specialist Training in NYC.
