Business writing involves knowing your target audience, the goal of your message, and its purpose. Along with defining your audience, message, and objective, it’s equally important to use proper grammar and writing techniques. Writing a sales proposal for a prospective client and a memo outlining office behavior require two very different sets of skills.
This Business Writing Bootcamp includes our Grammar Essentials, Effective Business Writing, and Advanced Business Writing courses at a 20% discount. You'll learn practical strategies to sharpen your writing skills from idea to final draft, review essential grammar rules, and prepare complex multi-page business documents.
This is the recommended order, but some courses may be taken in a different order.
Unit 1 6 Hours
Gain mastery over grammar. Learn how to avoid common mistakes and misspelled words that reflect poorly on your message. By the end of this course, you'll know essential grammar rules to improve your writing and have the skills to edit your own work to completely eliminate mistakes.
Unit 2 6 Hours
Learn how to write effective emails, persuasive memos, and proposals that generate new business. After taking this course, you'll be able to write clear sentences, organize your ideas, and write a variety of business documents for different audiences.
Unit 3 6 Hours
Master the art of effective business writing. Learn to focus your content and target the appropriate audience. By the end of this course, you'll be able to use both informative and persuasive writing techniques to reach your audience, whether internal or external and achieve your goals.

The Grammar and Advanced Business Writing course will take your English writing skills to the next level, wherever you start. It's worth taking the Grammar Essentials course. Grace knows her material and explains it well when we are uncertain. It is a lot to cover in a short period of time, but she manages to do it.
This class was well worth the time and money spent. It was both a refresher course and an advanced English class, only simplified. This was indeed the best person to teach this course. I would highly recommend this class to both beginners and advanced individuals wanting to improve their command of writing.

Attend this course in-person in NYC or Live Online via Zoom. Engage with expert instructors, ask questions, and get feedback on your exercises and projects.
Unlike other providers, these are not mass open-enrollment classes. At NYC Career Centers, you’ll learn in small groups (typically 8-15 students) and receive personalized attention.
Get face-to-face interaction with an instructor and other students when you learn at our NYC campus. Courses are hands-on with a computer and software provided.
Get the same interactivity and access to the instructor as in-person students. There are no extra fees and we’ll work with you to ensure your remote setup is perfect.
