Learn the basics of relational database management in Microsoft Access Level I. Do you manage massive datasets in multiple Excel workbooks? If so, you can likely benefit from using Microsoft Access. With MS Access, you can enter, organize, and create reports on massive datasets much more quickly than Excel.
Designed as a relational database solution by Microsoft, you can manage personal data or use it as an enterprise solution to manage data for an entire organization. In this introductory course for Microsoft Access 2016, you will learn how to create new databases, build tables, design forms, generate reports, and much more. By the end of Microsoft Acess Level I, you'll be able to join, filter, and sort data in Microsoft Access.
Enroll in the Microsoft Access Bootcamp, which includes Microsoft Access Level I and Microsoft Access Level II. On Day 1, you'll learn the basics of Microsoft Access, including creating tables and simple forms. On Day 2, you'll explore intermediate features, such as advanced data controls and sharing data with other applications. The MS Access Bootcamp is ideal for complete beginners, self-taught users with knowledge gaps, and experienced MS Access users that need a refresher.
Prove your knowledge of Microsoft Access by earning a certification. Our Access Specialist Certification Program will prepare you for the official MOS (Microsoft Office Specialist) Access certification exam. The certification package includes a free course retake, two hours of private tutoring with the instructor, and the certification exam fee.

However, if you plan to take the course live online, you may need to obtain required software. We’ll help you get set up with a free trial of paid software prior to the class. Most of our coding classes utilize freely-available open-source software. For most of our design and motion graphics courses, we will help you get set up with a free trial of Adobe Creative Cloud. If you attend the course in-person, we will have a computer already set up for you with all of the required software for no additional cost.
